2011 marked our "Decade of Service" to the community, and now in 2013 we are energized and ready to tackle the challenges of this new decade.
When we opened our doors, we were a staff of three housed in a small corner of an office building, charged with assisting the Haitian community to be stronger and more empowered. Now, 12 years later, Sant La has a staff of 11, and provides an average of 20,000 units of service per year, and is still finding new and better ways to strengthen the community.
We have many achievements to celebrate and so much more to accomplish. Our success is a testament to our friends, family, funders and the community that have supported encouraged and believed in us always. For those of you who are meeting the Sant La family for the first time through this website, I welcome you, and thank you for taking the time to get to know us. For those of you that have been a part of the Sant La history book, thank you, and we look forward to what lies ahead.
With Warm Regards,
Gepsie M. Metellus
