Fulfilling educational and vocational goals is one of life’s most empowering and impactful objectives. Sant La Fellows Class III understands that the United States is rich with diverse cultures, each with a unique set of educational challenges. Sant La Class III Legacy Scholarship Fund seeks to recognize at least two students of Haitian descent in Broward and Miami-Dade counties with a scholarship that celebrates the achievements and heritage of Haitians in the South Florida Community.
The Class III Legacy scholarship will award scholarships to at least two deserving students of Haitian descent. The purpose of the scholarship is to increase Haitian representation in higher education. Please note that Haitian ethnic heritage, personal attributes, community service and high scholastic goals are used to designate recipients.
who can apply
The recipient of the scholarship must be:
- Be Haitian and/or of Haitian descent
- Attend Dade or Broward County high school
- Be a graduating high school senior in May 2018
- Present a letter of acceptance to College and/or Vocational School.
- Have an unweighted 2.0 GPA or higher, and written essay/ video.
Deadline for applicants to apply for scholarship will be April 9, 2018 at 11:59 p.m. Recipients will be selected by April 2018 and will be awarded the scholarship on June 16, 2018.
